FASO is being developed as an independent public-interest observatory for reproducible, time-ordered and auditable observation of safety-relevant change in advanced artificial-intelligence systems.
FASO combines governed technical infrastructure and human review to preserve, replay, analyse and explain evidence of discovery, change and drift. Version 1 and a complete Test Rig exist; independent validation and operational piloting remain future gates.
FASO is not a regulator, certifier, artificial-intelligence laboratory, command centre or enforcement body. It does not declare a system safe, judge motive or assign blame. It presents information, supporting evidence and limitations.
